ESPN says we dont deserve Highlights

I am hard pressed to disagree.  Just another "conventional loss" for Buddy Bell to be proud of.  Giving up a second grand slam in as many days is a nice follow up to giving up 11 runs in the top of the ninth.  This is all part of the grand scheme to lose a franchise record 13 in a row.  I don't blame ESPN for saying Berroa's web gem doesn't get a replay because the Royals don't deserve any extra air-time.  With the Palmero controversy, the Rogers controversy, and the whole roids controversy going on, ESPN still takes time to poke fun at the not so lovable losers.

I almost wish for the days when we played .400 ball and nobody really noticed how bad we were.  No matter how hard the Royals try to hide this terribleness, it is hard not to notice the 800lb gorilla wearing wearing the clown hair, clown nose and clown shoes riding a banana seat bicycle at the party.

We bring the fireworks to every game, we just give them to the other team because we seem to be afraid of a little fire (hence the hiring of Buddy Bell, or better yet Banality Bell, or Buddy Banality).

On a better note, football is just around the corner.  Vikings vs. Chiefs preseason battle to the death.  I think my Vikings actually have a chance at going to the Super Bowl this year.
