Looking to end a 10-game losing streak, the Royals turn to Mike Woood (3-4, 4.03 ERA) in a return to the rotation move. Wood, perhaps the most successful (thus far) New-Royal acquired in last season's trades, is 2-1, with a 3.86 ERA in 23.6 career innings against the Tribe.
Cleveland, looking to stay in the AL Wildcard Race, counters with Cliff Lee (12-4, 4.02 ERA). This should be one of the best games of the season, and before an inspired crowd at the K, I have no doubt that the Royals can triumph.
