Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Feds going too far

Tomorrow in your morning papers, you will see a list of baseball stars like Miguel Tejada, Roger Clemens, and Andy Pettite supposedly outed by my client Jason Grimsley. That is NOT TRUE!!!! My client never gave such names to the feds. The fact is, my client was asked about these clients and this is why these names are in public tonight. This is an attempt by the federal government to put pressure on my client by making him a target for the media, federal government, and now the players union. This tactic won't get them too far. The truth will come out and justice will prevail and by this time next season, my client will be a key member for a team's playoff run.....

agreed
I think EVERYONE is going too far. I've been perpetually bored by the steroids story and remain shocked that the FBI/Attorney General's Office would devote this much time and money to such a meaningless issue. Especially whilst we are fighting three wars (Iraq, Afganistan, "on Terror") and dealing with about a million other problems.

Of course, the grand-standing media and the grand-standing politicians never miss a cheap photo-op, so on and on it goes. Meanwhile, the news comes out that the Super Bowl Panthers team was using steroids and...

No one cares...

Weird.

I wouldn't want to be Grimmy.

Good to hear he's being represented.

Couldn't agree more
I personally am sick and tired of the entire steroids debate.

 1) I don't care who did or did not take them

 2) I am tired of the media pontificating about
which records are legit and which aren't.
THEY ALL COUNT. There was a testing method
in place, and if baseball was too short-sited
or intentionally "looked the other way", it
matters not to me. Players are clean unless
baseball found something in their test and
    suspends them, IMHO.

  3) The Feds are obviously looking for some
glory here. Notice the timing of this latest
"release"? Right before the playoffs begin!
     That is NOT a coincidence!

  4) What the Feds, MLB, the media, and Congress
ALL fail to recognize is that most true
baseball fans DO NOT CARE ONE IOTA! We watch
the games for their entertainment value; we
don't care what the players are willing to
do to themselves to compete! IT'S THEIR
CHOICE! Yes, MLB should ban steroids and
enforce the ban with suspensions, but to do
so after the fact is STUPID AND NEEDLESSLY
DESTRUCTIVE TO ALL INVOLVED, INCLUDING THE
     FANS!

i sorta agree
but this whole thing started with Canseco's book. Once that happened, the wheels were set in motion because society demanded it. This is really about Barry Bonds now. The feds wanted the reaper to wear a mic and get some info on Bonds and he refused so they made his life miserable. Alot more people do care now about what McGwire and Sosa did and what Bonds is doing now. Personally, i don't want him to break it. Life goes on...
