Lubanski on BP

BP's love affair with future R's continues.  Check out this analysis of Chris Lubanski's career by prospect guru Kevin Goldstein.  The jury's still out on what he'll be (and I suspect that we won't know what he's going to be for at least three years or so) but there are some very hopeful signs.

Probably won't make it
until 2008 at earliest.

Still, encouraging to see how he has adjusted successfully at each level. Given his initial struggle each time he has been promoted, however, jumping to majors from AA without a full season of AAA is probably not wise for this prospect.

That's not to say Gordon or Butler couldn't handle the skipping of AAA - I personally think they both would hit well in the big leagues right now.

i like the guy
i think he has nice potential. He should be in AAA next season with Maier and Butler. That means either Huber will be in KC or traded.
