Not Much Fun

Give or take two or three days, and you can fly from Iowa to Chicago. Of course, getting to Chicago may or may not mean anything whence you get there.

From me and my family to all of you and yours, Merry Christmas. And if Christmas isn't your thing, have a Happy Haunakah (sp?) or a wonderful Kwanza.

Merry Christmas, everybody
And I hope you enjoyed your Festivus too.
I probably disagree with you.

The Airing of Grievances went as well as could be expected, but the Feats of Strength got a little ugly.  Oh well, happy holidays.
I probably disagree with you.

We're Finally Getting
Some real winter weather here. Nikiski is oddly protected from the full fury of these North Pacific storms (mountains, "downsloping", etc.), but we still feel them. Kodiak, on the other hand, is wide open to them.

If you know how to read METAR, this is an aviation nightmare; welcome to Kodiak:

Season Ticket for Christmas
It just doesn't get better than that.

I have been thinking about trying to find some friends to split one of those 24 game partial season tickets with.  I think the price basically comes down to about $15 per game for really good seats.  Plus, it would be so nice to call myself a season ticket holder.
