Since I've joined RoyalsReview last year, one common theme - with good reason - was how bad Berroa was and how we should get rid of him for someone else...anyone else.
I've read several comments this off-season about people that doubted GMDM, but that were warming up to him little by little. The coup d'etat would be for him to release, demote, or kidnap Berroa. Then everyone would be on board.
He did that.
Now I hear about how Pena is no better, and he shouldn't have made the move. Some question why it took him so long, etc.
Huh?
I realize we Royals fans have gone through some trying times. In fact, (you'll appreciate this, Mr. Royalsreview) as Thomas Paine said, "These are the times that try men's souls." But come on, you want GMDM to drop Berroa, he does, then you're not happy with whom he was replaced. Here's another quote, from A Few Good Men, "I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it."
So come on, let's just enjoy the new blood at the SS position, hope for the best, and realize it probably won't happen.
To finish the quote from Thomas Paine, "Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph."
