Gordon's First MLB Homer

Alright, place your bets. Pick your date and inning.  Make sure to list the count as a tie-breaker. It absolutely has to happen at some point.  Right?

If we had an actual pub we definitely would start a home-run jar.  One person gets a chance to hold the jar when he's batting.  If he doesn't homer, you add a dollar.  Or a calendar with innings, counts, and names.  In lieu of that...

April 12, off of Trash-chel, 3rd inning, 1-1 count.

Star-divide

AND IT looks like: Royals Retro and lordbyronk split the 3 dollar grand prize. Maybe we need a bet every night?

I'm optimistic
I'm going tonight as well.  Maybe 2nd at bat off Josh Towers.  He's really the weakest pitcher that the Royals have faced so far.  This will get his confidince up and he'll hit from here on out.

Tonight is a good guess
If not tonight, I'm guessing Sunday at Baltimore.  I'll take some photos of it.

Tonight is the night
Tonight first inning 3-2 count bases loaded.

Who cares
I'll be happy if he goes 2-4 tonight with a double and an RBI.  His power will come.
But if you really wanna know it will be Friday the 13th in Baltimore, he will hit 2 and drive in 7.

I'll be happy
...if he gets a solid single tonight and doesn't look horrible in his other at bats.  I'm just looking for progress.  Baby steps.

I'd like to see extra bases
I'm not concerned about a homer, but if he can slap one into the gap and grab two bases, maybe he can conquer the next mountain.

Way to go Gordo
Hopefully this brings him out of his slump and all my talk of sending him down if it continues is just me being pessimistic!!!

Again, I hope I'm wrong.
