Washington Nationals, the new Royals

Want to see something ugly.  I present you the Washington National's 2007 starting rotation:

Ace: John Patterson (1-2, 4.43 ERA)
#2: Shawn Hill (1-3, 4.66 ERA)
#3: Matt Chico (No MLB experience)
#4: Jason Bergman (2-2, 5.76 ERA)
#5: Jerome Williams (0-2, 7.30 ERA)

Boy, takes you back to the 2006 Royals.

This is the definition of "No Pitching."  How can Jim Bowden have allowed this to happen?  Going into a season with a five man rotation that combined for a record of 4-9 last year!  No joke, the Omaha rotation might be better than this crew.

The 2007 Nats might be one of those historically bad teams.  They might quickly start to erase the memory of the misery-royals from baseball fan's minds.  Nice not to be at the bottom of the pile for a change.
