1 month into a season is a good time for seasonal predictions, you've seen some of the rookie/newer guys face major leaguers, and you see how another year take its toll on vets. So what are some of your predictions for the rest of the year.
-Alex Gordon spend at least some time in AAA before figuring out, end the year on a tear and finish the year hitting .270
-Billy Butler gets sent down briefly due to roster space issue but is called up again shortly after when we trade Sweeney. End up hitting for good peripherals without much power. Full time DH by the end of the year.
-Sweeney and Brown will be traded, Reggie Sanders won't
-Hochevar gets no more than a cup of coffee in the majors and wasn't impressive in AA or AAA
-Emil Brown will go back to his mediocre self. Not the current .220 hitting Emil.
-Ryan Shealy spend 2 month down in AAA, gets his confidence back just in time for a Russ Gload cold streak, the 2 fight for playing time back and forth the rest of the year.
-Elarton will fail miserably as a MLB SP if tried there.
-Greinke ends the year being league average(ERA+ around 100)
-Tony Pena Jr ends the year hitting .230 with little to no extra on base skills and not much power...BUT with amazing defense. Bianchi develop nicely in the farm.
-Jorge De La Rosa gets rocked a few time but settle in to become a reliable #3 MLB SP
-Dotel dominate, gets traded, and then gets hurt with his new team.
-Riske does okay, gets traded, and then goes on to suck for his new team.
