I imagine that most of the readers of this blog already know of Joe Posnanski's blog. If you don't, you should. Anyway, his most recent post is about Buddy Bell's long history of losing.

Given the non-stop discussion here of when and how, exactly, Buddy should be fired, and the numerous (although hardly exhaustive) listing of his transgressions, I'd say this is required reading. It's actually a bit poignant. And telling. And prominently features RR reader "favorite" Shane Costa.

NB: Is Posnanski serious when he calls Bell his hero?
