So we all know that Pena just broke Quinn's record for consecutive AB's w/o a walk, though had Quinn not been intentionally walked he would still be the record holder. This doesn't bother me all that much, given that Pena has probably outperformed most of our expectations at the plate this year. What concerns me a little is the fact that Teahen broke the Royals record for consecutive games with a strikeout. Not that this means he is in a slump, cause obviously you could still have a good average over that timespan and still strike out once a game. But I just wonder if he is not seeing the ball as well or is going through a change with his swing/stance. I don't get to see the games on tv so I haven't been able to analyze anything like that. I'd like to hear some insight from those of you who get to watch or go to the games.
