Joba Chamberlain has a major drinking problem
Joba got a DUI this weekend. Clearly, just like Callaspo, he is an alcoholic with a major problem.

DMGM should offer to take this problem off the Yankees' hands
for a B level prospect or so.

The Yankees and the Royals should trade problems!
Callaspo for Chamberlain. It would be tough, but both players need a fresh start. Make it happen, Dayton and Brian.

Throw in Guillen and his salary, too.

No double standard here!
“If he needs help, we’ll certainly give it to him,” Hank Steinbrenner said.
“It happens,” he said. “Everybody deserves a second chance – or even a third chance.”
Yeah…as long as you throw like Chamberlain!

I'm sure he will step up and grit his way to AA

i agree that his dwi may have been overblown this year....
but he also beat up his wife while drunk not that long ago…so comparing joba to callaspo isnt really fair. one incident can be written off as a dumb decision, once something happens more than once…you can start to think its a problem
