Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

Natalie_20portman_20hot

This shouldn't have to be repeated or even said, but yes natalie portman is hot. Cute, hot, pretty whatever your fetish attractive word is she fits.
You would kill yourself if she was your pretty friend because that means you are just on the friends ladder and can't get off. (ok dual meaning there...but see this link for the ladder theory.)

I was flipping through the channels yesterday

And I saw Phantom Menace was on. I thought “maybe it won’t be as bad as I remembered it. Maybe I hate it only because I had such high expectations.”

It took about five minutes of dialogue for me to turn the channel. God I hate that movie.

Thought experiment

Go back and imagine that “The Empire Strikes Back” never happened, or at least wasn’t written and directed by someone other than George Lucas. Now, ask yourself what you think about this series.

Lucas owes his entire career and fortune to A)being at the right place and time to put out episode 4 when it’s viewers were wowed by the “cool effects” factor B)Kasdan (writer) and Kershner (director). The cool factor got him the $s to make the second one. Empire makes the series.

Othwerwise, it’s just cheesy dialogue, bad acting and a lot of special effects.

Great points

Kasdan and Kershner made that movie. I believe it was Kershner’s idea to have the movie end on a down note. Lucas probably would have had Luke kick Darth Vader’s butt or something. I think Lucas also had Harrison Ford talk himself out of having Han Solo killed. I hate you George Lucas.

Harrison Ford

Thought Han Solo should sacrifice himself for the greater good in “Return of the Jedi”. Lucas wouldn’t have it, so the series ended with them celebrating with the Ewoks, an ending that Ford reportedly hated.

She Was Great

In “The Professional”.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Yes, her career peaked at age 13

We always did feel the same, We just saw it from a different point of view, Tangled up in blue.

That movie put me to sleep.

I get what it was trying to accomplish and all….I know a lot of people like it….couldn’t stand it.

Great soundtrack

Pretty forgettable movie. I felt it was a vanity project for Zach Braff.

Pretentious

that’s a good word to sum up why the whole thing just seemed insincere and boring to me.
