Baseball's Most Unheralded Ace: Greinke versus Peavy
I'm guessing most of us already know about this stuff, but it's fun nonetheless, and something more positive to read about. Basically, Donald Rules.

Good stuff
I remember a thread on another site, where a brilliant poster said something along the “Greinke isn’t nearly as good as Peavy” lines. I wish this was up then.
We always did feel the same, We just saw it from a different point of view, Tangled up in blue.

I’ll take him.

ZG
After reading this I really want to sign him to a long term deal, like 3 years extra. That would be 5 total. I would be ok with this. This would get us through the 2013 season. Either this, or I want other GM’s to read this and make us a ridiculous offer. Like Kinsler, Teagarten, and a top pitching prospect (do the Rangers have those?)

I always compared him to Cole Hamels
Same age, similar stats from this year. I think all three guys, Hamels, Peavy and Greinke are in the same company. Not a bad little rat pack in my estimation. I am much, much more interested to see if Moore can lock up Greinke this offseason than in whatever other player acquisitions he can swing.
