My guess
Joey Gathright, Joel Peralta, Jimmy Gobble, and Jason Smith. The J’s are all gone.
I think there’s a small chance John Bale may be non-tendered, but re-signed.
Relive Royals History at royalsretro.blogspot.com
Jairo Cuevas will probably be non-tendered
then resigned to a minor league deal, if they can work it out.
any chance they could get any sort of "live arm" or something for Gator?
OMG Banny. FWIW I am only crdtng u w/3 runs allwd bc of DDJ OMFG

They could definitely get some kind of at last fringe prospect for Gathright
Or they could non-tender him and just give him away for nothing. We’ll see what they do.
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

interesting
Yes, I can agree with all of those. Peralta’s probably the best of the group – I guess. So everyone thinks TPJ sticks? Does he go to Omaha after ST?
I think he's out of options
I’d non-tender him before I would Peralta

I'd non-tender him before all of them
The only ones that I would definitely non-tender off the top of my head are Little Poppy, TPJ and Gobble. Who knows what Moore will do.
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

I'm praying that the FO takes this opportunity
to finally get rid of Jason Smith. I’d also predict Peralta and Gathright.
Who is going to provide the home runs for Omaha!?!!
And he was a AAA all-star!!! An all-star I tell ya!!!
Founder of the Johnny Giavotella fan club.
Yeah, and who is going to represent Omaha
in the race for the AAA strikeout record?!?
I really wouldn’t mind Smith’s crazy, all-or-nothing plate approach so much, if it amounting to something more often. But he never hit enough homers (or any other kinds of hits) to justify being that much of a free-swinger.
And, sitting here at 2:30ish in the morning
and thinking about how much I dislike Jason Smith is EXACTLY what I should be doing right now. It’s not like I have a job interview in the morning or anything… and sleep is for losers.
ha
I have a final in the morning…yea. And although i’m not tired yet, i sure as hell will be when i wake up tomorrow. should probably go to bed now.

I don't really get the Jason Smith hate
He is what he is. Nice AAA insurance. A middle infielder with some pop isn’t the worst thing in the world.

Smith...
I didn’t hate him so much until I started working for the team and had to watch him every day.
How many times has he hit on you with cheesy pickup lines?

He did not.
He has a wife and child, which doesn’t stop many players, but Smith really doesn’t talk to people outside the team much. Really seems to keep to himself.
Peralta, on the other hand…….
I can imagine with Peralta
I believe someone came across his myspace page once and it was littered with pictures of scantily clad women. Classy.

My favorite pickup line EVER
came from him. He was in the dugout like an hour before a game, and I was milling about, doing my pre-game work stuff. He says, “Hey! Hey Minda!” and waves me over to the dugout. (Only, you know,it sounds like “Meeeeenda.” His super-heavy Dominican accent made this even awesomer.)
So I go over to the dugout and ask what he wants. He says, “Are you good at packing?”
Me: “What?”
Him: “You know, packing, like…put clothes in a suitcase. I no good at it.”
Me: [in my mind, NOT out loud] “Jeez, with all these trips to Omaha you should be an expert by now.”
Him: “So you should come to my HOtel room, help me pack for my next trip.”
Me: “. . .”
Yikes
if I ever have a daughter, remind me to lock her in her room until she is 38

Oh, you don't have to lock her in her room
Just keep her away from dugouts!
My plan is to not have daughters. It sounds way too scary.
maybe
he really, honestly just needed help packing. didja ever think of that? huh?
btw, I’ll need help polishing off the mini bar in my room in Arizona in a couple of months, wanna help?
And Ken Harvey...
was a MAJOR LEAGUE All-Star.
Whatever may happen with Moore’s most recent moves, at least this team is light years ahead of those Dark Ages.

All of them…
The entire team has been traded for the empty senate seat in Illinois.

There's an upcoming available seat
in NY also, but you need to be named Kennedy to have a shot at it.

You shouldn't include both
“kennedy” and "shot at it " in the same sentence.

It has a critical design flaw that can cause the whole thing to explode
I believe it is middle relief pitching.

Not a great picture of our hero

but, you can see the determination of Farnsy’s face as Affeldt is on his way down. Pretty nice form tackle. The Tigers guy (I’m assuming coach) thinks it’s all pretty funny. The Royals guy (I’m assuming that’s Shane Costa) is hoping to just not get hurt.
I hereby resign from this post.

That's a pretty slick-looking double-leg takedown...
but it looks like he’s really exposing himself to a guillotine choke from Affeldt. If Affeldt got his left arm snuck in there on the way down and pulled guard, Farnsy would have been in trouble. I’m guessing he would have slipped his head out and ground-and-pounded his way to a TKO victory.
WWDLD?
