Maybe this is a viable option for cheaper than could be?

We already have four outfielders
We’d have to move one first. And frankly, I don’t see the hype over Baldelli, his power is average and his OBA skills suck.

People give him extra credit for his name
either conciously or subconsciously. he sounds like an italian boxer from Philly and that = GRIT…If his name was something like Jason Smith nobody would give a rats tail.
We always did feel the same, We just saw it from a different point of view, Tangled up in blue.

By that logic
We are totally ignoring the possibility that Jason Smith is an All-Star in waiting?

How many diagnoses does this guy need?
Just one correct one (just in time for FA!) I suppose.
I agree with Retro — he doesn’t make sense for the Royals as more than a platoon partner for Teahen. How much is a half-time-at-most platoon player worth to a team that isn’t in contention?
OMG Banny. FWIW I am only crdtng u w/3 runs allwd bc of DDJ OMFG

He fits the GMDM scheme perfectly!
