Royals 2008 Camp Roster

This should help out with who is going to be in camp with the big league club this spring.

I actually agree with pretty much every evaluation on there. Should be a lot of fun to watch and see how this spring plays out. I know I am excited to get it under way as I'm sure all of you are as well.

They've already given up on him
Seriously though, why would they? He should probably be in minor league camp working with his teammates and coaches rather than being treated differently simply because he's a first round pick.

Not necessarily
You don't have to lead the team in hitting to be a leader. Pretty sure Mike Sweeney wasn't leading the team in much the last couple years and he was a team leader. Just have to be a good guy to be around and have a positive attitude.

the question is
what kind of leader do you want?  The kind who leads by example or is just a good guy...I think we've seen the results of being a good clubhouse influence over the last couple years.

Leading by example
In real terms, I think "leading by example" means showing the right attitude, work ethic and temperment.  It doesn't mean hitting .350/.450/.550.  One can't lead others to hit well simply by hitting well one's self.  But one can help lead others to play hard, work hard, get along and not sweat the small stuff.
I probably disagree with you.

Can't wait
Until he showers with his uniform on to motivate the team.
