Around SBN: Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire Vow To Fit In With Lin

Another Survey

This one is to get what the consensus line-up would be 1-9. It also asks who should start and be in the bullpen along with their respective positions in each. It should only take a few minutes even though the questions may look long. I took the choices from the 40 man roster and the non-roster Spring training invitees. Click Here to take survey

I have 12 responses so far,
including myself. I plan on posting what the RR starting team would be when I get 30 plus. The back end of the rotation is going to be close, and so far Soria is a lock to be the closer. Thanks to all who have responded so far.

Went with my desired lineup
Instead of a realistic guess.  I dare Hillman-san to shatter the illusion of Grudz as a #2 hitter and put him in the 7 spot where he belongs, but I doubt that happens:
  1. DDJ
  2. Teabag
  3. Boom-Boom
  4. The New Most Hated Man in KC
  5. Smirky McSmirkSmirk
  6. Stormin' Mormon (with the leg kick)
  7. Grudz
  8. The EXPLODER
  9. Jalapena

Hillman's expressed lineup and OBP:
DeJesus:  .351
Grudzielanek:  .346
Teahen:  .353
Guillen:   .353
Butler:  .347
Gload:  .318
Gordon:  .314
Buck:  .308
Pena:  .284

Career OBP:

DeJesus:  .358
Grudz:  .331
Teahen:  .340
Guillen:  .325
Butler:  .347
Gload:  .333
Gordon:  .314
Buck:  .297
Pena:  .282

To be honest, it's difficult to deny that this lineup is completely deformed.  I would probably go with the following, but then if Shealy earns a starting slot, you would have four consecutive righties in the 6-9 slots (yes, I agree with the L/R balance, to an extent).

L DeJesus:  .351 / .358
L Teahen:  .353 / .340
R Butler:  .347 / .347
R Guillen:  .353 / .325
L Gordon:  .314 / .314
R Grudz:  .346 / .331
L Gload:  .318 / .333
R Buck:  .308 / .297
R Pena:  .284 / .282

If Shealy returns, that presents a problem, though.
