Opening Day Tickets

Has anyone won the opportunity to purchase Opening Day tickets this year? If so, when did you receive your winning message? I have received a message stating I didn't win but my wife who also entered has received nothing from the team. I hope this means she won...suspense suspense.

both received messages that we didn't win at about the same time this morning. The fact that your wife hasn't heard anything sounds promising.

This is strange...

I know of two people, including myself, who have not received any reply from the Royals regarding Opening Day as of 7:15 p.m.

No idea what that means but at this point, it probably isn't good. Anyone else have this issue?

My friend and I both were denied

but one of his friends recieved an email yesterday saying that he was a winner. (We both received emails this morning).

Buy tickets for the 2nd game - the Royals did not schedule an off day after the opener, so if the opener is postponed, you win!

If you throw out opening day costs, you get 20 more games for less than $100.00. Also, if you call the Royals ticket office instead of buying online, they will waive the $30 transaction fee.
