If the Red Sox win every game at the new Yankees Stadium next year you can bet this will be brought up again.

Oh my yes

In fact, just a bunch of early season wins by the Red Sox in Yankee Stadium will drive many Yankee fans to hysterics. There will be calls for interrogating that construction worker to find out where the shirt is and then replacing that column, piller or whatever. Baseball fans are very superstitious. And Yankee fans are particularly moronic.

After initially denying that this had happened and ridiculing the press for reporting it, the Yankees unearthed the David Ortiz jersey, thereby excising the curse.
