BOD: Boyfriend of the Day April 16, 2008

Hey, even though I didn't see the game due to an extremely busy day yesterday, I heard it was a doozy of a game; one that had the epic Royals of old 'we're going to break your heart this time' written allllllll over it.

Star-divide

Boyfriend of the Day

Gil Meche!

Gil finally had that game we were looking for; he went for 6 innings, only allowing 2 runs and striking out 2. Now, let's just get that ERA down, Gilly.

Smitten Kitten

Jimmy Gobstopper Gobble!

Jimmy got a crucial out in the game. The game was handed to him on the line and he took care of it for our staff ace.

Leo Nuñez!

Nuñez kept the game together in the 8th, making sure that he could get that crucial save for Mr. Joakim Soria.

Honorable Mention

Joakim Soria!

What can I say, our closer is boss. 2 strikeouts last night. ERA of 0. Daaaang.

valuable opponent

weaver for his shady 5 singles allowed in the first and error that proved to be the winning run?

Never giving up on your team is what makes you a good fan.

That picture of Meche is EPIC

Did you do that, and may I use it?

Finally coming back to the 'K'!!!! I'm going to be there 7/11/08, vs the SEA Mariners, of course!

yes, I made it

People started calling him Gilgameche and I googled Gilgamesh and took the legendary Babylonian hero’s image and…distorted it a bit I guess.

And yes, you may use it.

I love that you made the face grayscale, but left the royal blue.
