I don’t think you can ever have enough pitching. But I fear CC will get waaaaay overpaid, and his weight and high number of high stress innings at a young age are enough to scare me off.

Bigger fish to fry
If we are overspending for veterans, it’s got to be someone who can hit the ball and score runs. GMDM has proven his ability to identify pitchers and seemingly get them for nothing of value. I’ll be skeptical of the need to go outside our current prospects and future draft picks for quality starting pitching from here on out.
Now, if they have problems with Sizemore, Hafner or Martinez, let me know.

I think he has been overworked thus far, especially last year. No go unless it’s a 1 or 2 year deal to “reestablish value”.
