Is Meche hurt?

The Star reported that Meche is being moved back a day to face the Twins instead of the Yankees on 6 days rest instead of 5.

Why would you move your #1 back under these circumstances?  He had a rough outing, but mostly it was due to one long ball, not necessarily total ineffectiveness.  His spring was generally effective and his first start was adequate.

Is he hurt or ill?  It seems odd you would not want your ace to pitch against the Yanks given the opportunity and the fact it's only his 3rd start of the year.
