Fielding Bible Plus/Minus
ACTA Sports shows us baseball's top defenders at each position. Sadly, no Royals. The Fielding Bible is now available at www.billjamesonline.com. The only Royal in the top ten at his position is Mark Grudzielanek, 8th at 2B. Look like thus far we're pretty mediocre, no one really great, no one really awful.

It’s okay to carry a slightly below average fielder at SS as long as he’s hitting. I wouldn’t worry about the +1. He’s hitting 333 with power since last night.

Its a bit early
And I’m not sure the methodology is that great. Basically you get a +1 if you make a play others wouldn’t make, and -1 if you fail to make a play others would make.
