MLB to propose instant replay
Clearly following my lead after personally calling for this months ago, MLB is going to propose some kind of instant replay.
"A top baseball official will formulate a proposal for instant replay, and the technology could be tested in the Arizona Fall League this year. Jimmie Lee Solomon, the sport’s executive vice president for baseball operations, wouldn’t put a timetable on a replay plan, which was recommended by general managers in November. The idea drew renewed attention following several blown home run calls by umpires in recent days.

Depends on the implementation
But I think this is a step in the right direction. Technology should be utilized, not shunned.

I like it for HR-related issues
...such as fair/foul and did it hit the railing or go over the line. And I bet that is the kind of thing they’ll limit it to.
I probably disagree with you.
I like it for damn near everything
except ball/strike calls, of course. The biggest argument against it is bullshit, too. How much time is lost by managers waddling out onto the field and jawing at the ump?
Then again, maybe TPTB think, deep down inside, that manager/ump arguments are good for the game…
Sarcasm™. It's the new gravy.
