A shitty loss for a shitty franchise
this isn’t easy for anyone. Im sick and tired of it. And I really want to believe, I really do that Gordon Butler et al. are going to do it and pull us out of it. But I don’t know. Sometimes its questionable.
Its just hard to pretend like the recent changes for good make this loss any more palpable.
It feels like an entire decade just punched me in the stomach.
Accidentally not thedude925 anymore. I do hate this new name.

Can people starting putting these damn losses into prospective and chill out…Man, DM has done a lot of great things to turn around this franchise, but there’s still a lot more improvements to be made. It’s the fate of a small market team: It takes a while to build your team because you can’t go out and spend millions in FA. Allard set this franchise back several years, and it’s going to take more than 1-2 years for DM to turn it around. So will people chill out and just be patient.
venting is fine
people have been patient for a looooong time. It doesn’t help when the only other franchise in the city is asking for that same patience.
It was a horrible and unforgettable loss. It was a shitty way to lose. Our 10th game in a row.

but a lot of Royals fans (myself included) don’t like people to post things like: “shitty franchise” , Or “Losers” 100 times. I realize you werent the one with the original post, but still, venting, and blatantly insulting the Royals (and in turn the fans) are two totally different things.

It is just a losing streak. It sucks, but that is baseball. It won’t always be like this.
Plus, if you resign now, you won’t be able to fully participate in the grand resurgence. I am positive it is right around the corner,... again. I’m sure the Royals are getting better, … probably.

any fan who “leaves” during a losing streak will definitely return during a winning streak.

When the Royals get on a winning streak, I’d rather you not jump back on the bandwagon. Go be a Red Sox fan. Say hi to all of the bandwagon jumpers there for me.
