Typical ESPN,showing 1980 instead of 1985...
Yet another reason not to like the Worldwide Leader…why can’t Classic air any of the 1985 World Series wins, when KC won it all instead of the ‘80 World Series when the Fightin’ Feignin’ Phils beat Kansas City? Nice going ESPN Classic, showing us Royals fans game 6 of the ‘80 World Series seeing baseball’s all-time hits leader who actually bet on his own team 8-9 years later as manager of the Reds celebrate against the Royals. What next,Classic? Getting us Fighting Irish of Notre Dame fans angry so that we can smash a brick into the TV if you air First Take’s Dana Jacobsen attacking Notre Dame and Christianity at the Mike and Mike Celebrity Roast earlier this year? But anyway,I have enjoyed ESPN the Magazine the last 6 months with great cover stories on Vlad Guerrero, the Celtics’ Big 3,the Upton brothers,Dale Jr.,Kimbo Slice, and (God help us all) C.C. Sabathia. Remember,Classic, next time why not air the ‘85 World Series, not ‘80,okay?

I Was Surprised
To find this is the only WS championship in Phillies’ history.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
