Royals To Trade Pitching
In Jayson Stark's newest article, he mentions that the Royals are telling people it will look to trade pitching in July. Stark mentions Gobble and Mahay as likely candidates.
What do people think? Other pitching candidates for trade?

Peralta perhaps
I like Joel a lot, but he could be expendable. Maybe Tomko if he can pitch well.

serious but it would certainly free up cash. His contract is backloaded and he is owed 48 million over the last 4 years.
I'd do any trade which improved the team for the very near future
Of course you don’t do that by trading low. And we’d have to get someone who is more valuable than a pretty good #2 SP.
I probably disagree with you.

Any of the bullpen except Soria, Nunez or Ramirez
Bale, Gobble, Mahay, Yabuta, Peralta would be likely to move. Tomko has trade deadline flip written all over him with Hochevar doing well and Davies at Omaha. Bale could stay in the rotation as #5 too if Tomko was dealt. I believe Musser could come up from Omaha and fill one of the LH roles. Best deal for any of the relievers should get them various degrees of players especially minor leaguers. A contender won’t be looking to give up regular big league bats.
Don’t see KC trading Meche – he is still a building block for the rotation. Takes the long term pressure of farm systme and gives KC a chance to win each start.
