These frequent updates on Carlos Rosa may be boring to some, but in my opinion, he's the best pitching prospect in the Royals system and might be the Royals #2 prospect overall right now. In today's start, Rosa's line was: 6 ip, 4 h, 1 er, 2 bb, 7 k (no decision) That brings his AAA total in 4 starts to: 21 ip, 24 h, 11 er, 4 bb, 20 k, 4.71 ERA, 2-1 If you take out Rosa's first start, his AAA ERA is 3.00. Rosa is, so far, making a terrific adjustment to PCL pitching. You've got to love the 8.6 K/9 and the 5.0 K/BB.
