If I Hear Steve Berthiaume Say "The Nation" One More Time...
If I hear Steve Berthiaume say "The Nation" one more time, in reference to the Red Sox, I will...
Umm, I will be a very annoyed viewer. Or... I will flood ESPN's ombudsman's email with numerous well thought our complaints... Or I will systematically boycott ESPN's major sponsors, thus crippling the WWL.
I suppose there's some possibility that it's somewhat parodic of the whole Red Sox Nation thing, perhaps, but it's just annoying as hell.

especially when we know that it is
Royals Nation
Will, since you are soon to be married, if you took ESPN store items off your registry, you could bring them to their knees financially.

It's not a parody
Count on it.
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

It's not a smart enough
idea to be a parody. And I find it annoying, too.

I like to think of us
As more of a confederated union. Although “The Royal Confederacy” doesn’t sound good.

How about the "Royals De-centralized Federation"?
Just rolls off the tongue, no?
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

"Confederation" is fine
that’s what Canada is. And we all know that Canada is perfect. Remember, in the New Era of Historizing:
“Confederacy” = pure evil
“Canada” = absolutely good, with not problems at all, only those made up by the evil Fox Network

Wait until the Royals reach St. Louis
I am already tired of “Cardinal Nation” and “Baseball’s Best Fans”.

Royals Empire
I think with the “Royals” moniker, we’re stuck with Kingdom or Empire. It would be difficult to be the “Royals Republic”—despite the alure of the alliteration.

You and I
seem to be annoyed by the same things all the time, RR.
Keep up the good work!
