Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

Battle Royal!!!!!

Since there isn't a game today and not a whole lot to talk about, (unless you're into golf, which was pretty awesome actually) let me bounce this off your brains. Which Royal would win in an every man for himself death match?

Would Olivo's tank-like self outlast everyone else?

Can guillen RAGE himself to a victory?

Or will Grudz Grit everybody to death?

So lets hear your thoughts on this extremely relevant topic.

Guillen is pretty strong, with a low center of gravity

And he does have crazed rage on his side.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

TPJ

without a doubt. He is a man among boys.

In a fight between Jose Guillen

and Superman, the clear winner would be Mike Aviles.

Superman owns a pair of Mike Aviles pajamas.

Nobody will celebrate harder when the Royals make the playoffs!!

Looking at the Calendar Outtakes...

I’d go with John Buck, look at the way he manhandled DDJ.

Grud loses many GRIT points for that pose.

Olivo vs Alex championship

Alex farm strength versus Olivo’s brute strength. In the end Yabuta shocks all with his knowledge of Taekwondo

Billy at worst will be Sean Casey jr.

Isn't it great how a two-game winning streak totally changes the tone of the posts and comments around here?

We’re so dang easy…

And you guys know that it’s between Gload and Grudz: grit takes no shit.

OMG Banny. FWIW I am only crdtng u w/3 runs allwd bc of DDJ OMFG

Mark Grudzielanek

He seems like the kinda guy that stands in the background while everyone else fights. You want for him to do something, but he just stands there. Then, at the right moment, he just goes apeshit on everyone with some killer ninja moves.

That is a scary, scary man.

Like that one Asian dude that Mrs. Lovejoy, et. al., in the Simpsons episode where Homer gets mob protection for Marge’s pretzel business.

Hee hee

The best part about that is that it’s Jeff Weaver that he’s flattening. Take that, #4 starters at best!
