Around SBN: MLB Trade Rumors: Jorge Cantu to the Giants?

Maybe this is rehashing a subject that's been covered thoroughly in the past, but while reading the mailbag on the team website, I followed the link to the intro music for players and couldn't help but notice Teahan lists a Jose Lima number in his walk up music.

Is Teahan joking around with Lima or what?

Great link

Not getting to watch Royals games almost at all on TV, this is quite a revelation.

+100 for Teahen goofiness.

“TNT” is almost too perfect for Yabuta, not as good as something like BOC’s “Setting Cities on Fire with Rock n’ Roll,” though.

Soria: Mega-disappointment for the uber-generic “Welcome to the Jungle.”

Grudz: Even Flow—perfectly generic for his age and role.

Gathright: “Out here Grindin’,” good song but way inappropriate for a fast guy. That should be Gload’s.

Guillen’s should definitely be “TNT.” “Lock up your daughters, lock up your wife, lock up your back door, run for your life.” Yeah, that’s him. I hope he kicks Yabuta’s ass for that.

OMG Banny. FWIW I am only crdtng u w/3 runs allwd bc of DDJ OMFG

They asked him about it on Royals Insider once

And he grinned and said that the song “made him happy.”

I wonder if its some sort of inside joke.

I tend to agree with that line of thought. Maybe Teahen needs something that makes him focus instead of making him happy.

Is it sad

that I get so annoyed when people write Teahan instead of Teahen? I think it probably is but a lot of people do it…...Alright, yeah it’s pretty sad.

What is really weird is that broadcasters from a few different teams still pronounce his name wrong

...by calling him “TAY-hahn” I have no idea where they get that from Teahen.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

There is a serious lack of speed and death metal...

no wonder this team lacks grit!!

Guillen should use Damage, Inc. by Metallica

Nobody will celebrate harder when the Royals make the playoffs!!
