Game 78 Open Thread - Rockies (32-45) at Royals (34-43)
Colorado Rockies @ Kansas City Royals
The Royals reacquaint themselves with JDLR (6.52 ERA) tonight, in what promises to be an emotional night at the K. It should be especially difficult for Dayton to watch de la Rosa in Rocky gray, as he was always smitten with Jorge's electric stuff.
The Royals counter with Zack Greinke (3.33 ERA). I may be dead wrong, but Greinke seems to have been fairly "meh" for the last month or so. I'd love to see him turn in a truly virtuoso performance.
With another win, we can reclaim another fan in western Kansas. I want Royals fans on the ground in Goodland!

Grudge match!
JDLR is going to come out firing tonight.
By the way! Today is “Tear Down The Ceiling For No Goddamn Reason Night!” according to Mr. Fix-It, my idiot father. Honestly, it’s like the man is trying to sabotage our chance of putting the house on the market.

It's the reverse Will Ferrell effect
Ferrell makes like 3-4 funny ass movies and then he makes one that just sucks out loud (Bewitched, Elf, Stranger than Fiction). JDLR pitches horribly for 3-4 games, then looks like a Cy Young candidate.

Gordon hit a soft liner to SS.
Tulowitzki tried to let it drop for a DP, but the Ump ruled he caught the ball. He threw back to first, going for the DP, and airmailed it into the dugout. Aviles gets to go to 3rd because of the ‘the base you are going to + another one’ rule.
