Callaspo gets a DUI

Star-divide

Last night, Alberto Callaspo had a good time.  Sounds like he was out in the Westport/Plaza area throwing back a few, and then he made a bad decision.  He got in his car, ran a red light near UMKC's campus, and was pulled over.  He received a DUI citation and spent roughly seven hours in a KCMO prison.  Callaspo is 25 and is in his first full major league season.  He has been around the minors and around some big-league clubhouses.  No doubt that this guy knows how to have a good time, but he will figure out soon he is not above the law or even above some sort of discipline.  The Royals organization tries to uphold a high moral reputation, Jose Guillen tirades aside.  They want to maintain the family-friendly reputation.  To do this, perhaps some kind of discipline is in order from the team, although you can't really 'bench' a player who doesn't receive much playing time anyway.  That said, what do we do, if anything?

Wow this was a way better post than NYRoyal

You stated what happened, you gave your opinion on what the Royals should do, and then you had a poll. Very good!

No problem

Just a reminder. Will prefers that we don’t have redundant posts. Just something to think about.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.
