...take the series! I saw in the KCStar that Billy Butler was recalled. Prediction: He’ll go 2-3 with a single, double, and a walk. – TL

I understand you think we're being overly negative but

Last night we gave away 3 runs on defense. 2 innings into tonight, we’ve seen: Bannister hand out 3 free passes. Jason Larue hit a 2 run home run. Dejesus injure himself, cost us a run and make a bad baserunning decision simultaneously. Aviles lose a pop up that costs us two runs in the end. Need I go on? Ugly.

OK

Now the stage is set for the comeback.

Seriously- this is a game where we find out what kind of team we have. Are they going to fall apart or are the going to fight?

One thing about Royals losing streaks is they are richly populated with come-from-ahead losses and games where they quit early. If they fight back in this one I’ll feel better about them, but I fear we’ll see a lot of a 1 and 2 pitch at-bats coming up.

That was just ugly...

We evented new ways to shoot ourselves in the foot in this one. The pitching and defense was sad. The offense just couldn’t put it together to capitalize on the big inning. Lastly… why is German still with the team. Bring up a real OF and trade him for a prospect.

Lets hope we catch the Orioles in a down turn. Go Blue…
