"I could easily play five more years. I'm feeling pretty good. I'm moving around better. My knees are good. But really? Two or three years, maybe."
"I'm really up in the air. I really am. I've got a few more years left, and I’d like to make a run at it. The last few years have not left the best taste in my mouth, let’s be honest. I don't want to go out like that."

He's had good seasons the last few years
So, if they haven’t “left the best taste” in his mouth, he must mean that he hasn’t liked playing for KC (probably because of being on a losing team). That tells me that he’d rather not re-sign with the Royals. Hopefully Moore feels the same way. Regardless, it looks even more likely that he won’t be around next season.
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

I hope that's what it means
I still wouldn’t risk that he’d accept the Royals arbitration offer (his arbitration award would likely be higher than what he could get on the FA market). I’d still trade him at the deadline.
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

Yes,
Grudz is not so highly coveted that offering him arbitration is a good idea.

I would say that completely depends on Callaspo.
If his off field issues don’t warrant him being the second basemen of the future then arbitration for Grudz wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.

Grudz would likely get $5M+ in arbitration
Arbitration doesn’t take into account how old a player is and how likely he is to decline. It just takes into consideration the prior two years performance and how much that performance. He’d likely get more money than he’s making right now. Is Grudz worth that much to the Royals? Definitely not. One of Callaspo, German or Aviles could definitely handle the position at an approximately Grudz level for much less. The money would be wasted on Grudz.
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

That's preposterous.
Especially since ESPN’s Rumor Central clearly says that the Drunken Leprechauns are seriously considering moving in first.
