2008 All Hottie All Stars: National League
Yesterday brought you the American League Lineup, today we have the boys from the senior circuit, ready and rearing to go. Get your bids in now: we're about to see if Justin Huber made the NL team as the Padre's lone representative or not!
Catcher
Chris Ianetta, Colorado Rockies
He's got a good smile and looks like a nice, down to earth and approachable guy.
First Baseman
Conor Jackson, Arizona Diamondbacks
Eh, we'll go with it. I'm not as familiar with the NL hotties so this will probably be more difficult that you'd like to believe.
Second Baseman
Chase Utley, Philadelphia Phillies
Chase just barely nudged out Dan Uggla for the hilarity factor, but Utley is actually cuter than Uggla so there you have it.
Third Baseman
He is pretty, not gonna lie. But is he prettier than Alex Gordon? That's the question I'll answer tomorrow (stay tuned!)
Shortstop
Rafael Furcal, Los Angeles Dodgers
Another position that was hard to find, given that a lot of the other teams had already received their nominees before I picked SS.
Outfielders
Justin Huber, San Diego Padres
I'm a sucker for an accent, what can I say? Couldn't find any decent shots of him in Padres garb, so we'll go with this nice shot instead :)
Everyone loves a man with ridiculous amounts of bling [/sarcasm]
Jeff Francoeur, Atlanta Braves
Starting Pitcher
Relief Pitchers
Chris Wainwright, St. Louis Cardinals
Another one I hated to put on the team, but they have to have a rep. He's not awful looking but...I don't really like that hat much.
Bronson Arroyo, Cincinnati Reds
He looks a bit goofy, but the long hair isn't bad and everyone loves a guy with a guitar. Haha.
John Patterson, Washington Nationals
Tim Lincecum, San Francisco Giants
He's on here because I'm actually kind of a fan of the grungy, longer hair look. And he's also got a decent mean eye going on there.
Paul Maholm, Pittsburgh Pirates
Andrew Miller, Florida Marlins

For some reason, I approve of your Marlins selection
Also, nice shot of Arroyo with the guitar—I remember a couple years ago they randomly showed him playing “Wonderwall” during the All-Star telecast.
What about statheads? :)
ZIPS: Milledge: 466 HR, 485 2B, 2282 hits, 278-379-524
Furcal
was a last minute ‘oh shit i forgot about SS’ choice. Plus I needed someone from LA.

Chris Wainwright?
also Ben Sheets looks like about 5 different minor characters from Scrubs.
Accidentally not thedude925 anymore. I do hate this new name.
So
So i was thikning he looked like Ricky Schroeder. I looked up Rick to link it to him, and sure enough, he played a role on Scrubs as well as many other fine sitcoms.
Don't Stop Believing!
thank goodness Huber is finally acknowledged
for his fine play and inate goodness.
