All-Star Game Prediction Contest Results
So that contest, in which RRers were asked to predict who wouldn't play, turned out great huh? As only one player didn't appear -- good ole Tim Lincecum -- who indubitably acquired "flu-like symptoms" by staying in his hotel room on Monday night in New York.
Anyway, it looks like four guys predicted that Timmy wouldn't appear:
wildthang, sconieroyal, kcscoliny, Fernando Vina School of Linguistics
The tiebreaker was the game prediction. The AL eventually won 4-3, and the closest prediction to that result was sconieroyal and F.V.S.of L, who each predicted that the game would be a 5-2 AL win. (I consider this a closer prediction than kcscoliny's call of 6-3.)
So... who wants it more? Sconieroyal and F.V.S. of L, I'm declaring you both winners. If you want your Royals Review T-Shirt, post a comment below, and I'll email you about how to get it to you.
Felicidades!

I think kcscoliny should get the title..
given that he correctly picked the NL’s run total whereas both FVSL and Sconieroyal incorrectly picked both the AL and NL’s run total. Just my opinion.

well i guess it doesn't matter because I didn't win
but my late change of Lincecum was a little bit slippery. It was all over local radio that Lincecum was hospitalized and they were making a huge deal of it so I guess my choice/change for Lincecum was a little underhanded.
Oh well, cheating and baseball are meant to be.

I admit it.
I was corrupted by the Bay Area. The twisted center of the destruction of innocence was too powerful and I was swayed by BALCO, and the ghost of Giambi and Barry Bond’s head. I am a casualty in the battle for national innocence.
I will accept my one year banishment from whatever is banishing me.

one year of no negative TPJ references?
or is that cruel and inhumane punishment?
