OT - The Chiefs are Stupid

This is why I'm considering getting rid of my season tickets. What the hell are the Chiefs thinking? You think this is a bad time to implement such a rule? This has put me in a tremendously bad mood. And now, I have to come up with 15 more words so that this deal will be published, so forgive my random combination of words that don't make sense.

Agreed

My family has had chiefs season tickets for 15 years now, and this is the dumbest thing I’ve come across. I don’t think they’ll actually enforce this rule, because doing so would ruin the ‘college atmosphere’ Carl Peterson so lovingly talks about. They should relegate this rule to the middle deck, where those people have paid for seats that allow them the luxury of sitting to watch the game. The lower deck and upper deck are fair game for people to stand and make noise. In fact, last time I checked, that helps the home team. Grow a pair Chiefs and embrace your rowdy fans instead of punishing them (again…last year’s offense was the first punishment).

Never giving up on your team is what makes you a good fan.

ummm....

they haven’t been so explicit with a “fan code of conduct” before, but these ‘rules’ have more or less been in place for years, this isn’t new at all.

the only new thing is the text messaging for anonymous reporting, which i don’t know how you can be against as a way to easily report obnoxious fans who ruin other peoples’ times.

this will change absolutely nothing

god

i remember being like 7 or 8 at a chiefs game (15 years ago) and hearing them announce the whole refrain from excessive standing thing over the stadium speakers and asking my dad why nobody followed the rule or got in trouble

I disagree

And I’m going to text Carl Peterson to report you on your negative post.

Expos, Marlins, Clippers of the late 80's

Duke football, Kansas City Chiefs. Anyone? How about “Organizations that are/were 100% inept and stupid, Alex.” I am starting to care less and less about the Chiefs as they sink further into stupidity. They don’t give a damn about winning and they don’t give a damn about their fans. All they care about is making money. Therefore, I have little use for them at this point. I hope those assholes get their shit together.

Wow,

I’m not a Chefs fan, but that’s really stupid.
