It is true that managers don’t cost a team too many games with bad strategy, but if the Royals are to edge into contender status over the next few years, they will need a manager who does not give away 3 to 5 games a year

Non sequitur time

Once at Worlds of Fun, I waited in line for the Patriot behind a guy wearing the most exceptional t-shirt. The back had a large, classy-looking drawing that looked like it was done with a pencil – a style like this: http://www.pet-art.net/images/doberman_hercules_pencil_drawing_big.jpg . At the top it said something epic-sounding like “THE MOMENT” and at the bottom it had the date and time in fancy script lettering. The drawing depicted the instant at which Michael Barrett’s fist connected with AJ Pierzynski’s face.

The shirt was so beautiful, and I want one very badly but I was never able to find one.
