as I mentioned in a game thread earlier this season, managers have been shown not to make a difference more than 2-3 games a season. HIllman’s blown at least 3. So he’s disaster-proofed the team.

This game sounds like it will end badly

It is true that managers don’t cost a team too many games with bad strategy, but if the Royals are to edge into contender status over the next few years, they will need a manager who does not give away 3 to 5 games a year

Grud is significantly overrated in KC - rest of the league does not think that much of him
