TPA's Top 10 Royals Prospects

Moose is #1 and Rosa is #4... At least according to this set of rankings, there's been some changes since the beginning of the season.

Odd and interesting

Montgomery at #2 over Cortes, Rosa, Wood and Duffy? That doesn’t sound right to me at all. And I don’t think Mitchell, Teaford and Herrera belong in the top 10 either. I think this is yet another example of why few rankings are of any real value. BA, BP, Sickels and maybe a few others are of value.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

That's the worst list I've ever seen

Teaford doesn’t belong in the top 30, although he is having a nice year.

Herrera…maybe top 15. Not top 10 yet. I emphasize “yet,” because that guy is very talented.

No way Montgomery is that high. Very good talent but hasn’t done anything to be over Rosa/Cortes/etc…

Mitchell is more a top 20 guy. Pretty good prospect, but no way top 10.

Never heard of TPA

Their list seems a bit off.

Sickels still uses AOL

which always amuses me… since I get a totally clueless email from him on the SBN listserve about once a year

I did not know that

Sickels is different, obviously.

No Cegerra or Dickerson?

Who cares about RBI's, how many HDB's you got?

If you add Hosmer and Melville to the mix, coming up with a top 10 becomes really difficult

Those deserving serious consideration would include at least:

Moustakas
Cortes
Rosa
Wood
Duffy
Pimentel
Hosmer
Melville
Montgomery
Dickerson
Kaaihue
Cegarra
Gutierrez

That’s 13 and that’s not even a complete list of those deserving serious consideration for the top 10.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.
