In fourth place in the AL Central since June 25th, the Royals are in danger of falling back into last place thanks to a mini-surge from the zombie Indians. To insure another glorious morning in fourth, the Royals will likely need a good start from beloved ex-Brave Hiram Kyle Davies (4.59 ERA). In his last five starts, Davies is the owner of a 7.77 ERA.

Facing off against Davies will be noted beastman Kenny Rogers (4.62 ERA). As far as I know, Rogers has not assaulted anyone in the last five or six weeks.

The place IS

going to hell, as far as I’m concerned. We (I guard for the local Y) have this BS ‘relationship’ with this school’s pool where we run this afternoon swim because we don’t have an outdoor pool yet. So the school loves to complain through their aquatic director about every little damned thing, then they tell my boss, who complains to her subordinate, and then they all complain to me. I feel like the guy in Office Space sometimes.

I'm pretty level-headed

MOST of the time, but I believe you might be right. I have the feeling I’m going to say something really stupid and really enjoyable about where the school can stick it sometime soon.

Plus, you know, I really think last night was just really unlucky. Like losing a game on a Scott Podsednik home run or something.

Agreed

I understand not having him hit versus a guy he’s done particularly poorly against, and it’s just common sense to rest your hitters against tough same-sided pitchers sometimes. At least maybe this way German will hit well over the week and we can trade him to Baltimore for Matt Wieters.

but! my aunt’s friend Heather is one of DDJ’s exes. She was at my grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary (for some reason…don’t ask me why). I did not know this at the time, and my dad was too polite to ask her about him. In retrospect, I should have been all over that shit.
