Game 103 Open Thread - Rays (59-41) at Royals (45-57)
Tampa Bay @ Kansas City
Gil Meche finds Matt Garza's constant smiling for pictures to be unsettlingly un-manly.
Of course, compared to his Twins days, he's making progress towards the joyless, menacing, version masculinity that we expect.

Oh, and Garza (17.1 VORP) has been better than Meche (12.3 VORP) this season, which is really something to scowl about.

Question:
Gathrights on the DL, Maier called up.
Who takes Maiers place in AAA?
Is Kila Ka’huie getting his chance?

Yes, But...
Omaha still has 4 OF’s (Costa, Lubanski, Buchanon, Hollins) and only one 1B(Stodolka) who frankly isn’t producing very well (.278/.337/.401)
Can’t really think of a better person to call up

before Gobble had given up a run. 45 pitches in 2/3rds of an inning against Cleveland, and Gobble got pulled before facing a lefty
