I hope we get to see some Soria today
5 run lead, but he’s only pitched 2 times since the ASB. Twice!! Get the man some work.
winning records follow good bullpens
Melky Cabrera would actually be a bit of a steal
he’s not even 24 yet. He still has time to improve.
The only huge problems are that Melky would be leaving his friend Robinson Cano, and that Melky isn’t very good as a RH batter. But this organization is pretty good with Dominican prospects.
Bannister for Melky would be a win for us.
But he has no power
winning records follow good bullpens
He has as many homers this year as he had last year
Melky just doesn’t have any triples. But he had 8 triples last year, all of them on the road. And if he can hit the ball like he did in those games, he could get a few more triples in Kauffman stadium too.
Is anyone else REALLY
psyched about the way Butler’s hitting right now? It feels so good to have a power prospect actually crushing the ball in the majors.

Burlington Bees
Man, U Nebraska Omaha product Tim Huber is struggling. Just threw a wp to lost the game in the bottom of 12. On a positive note, Moustakas did hit his 14th HR today.
Lets go Soria. Good to see him on the mound.

Trey is loving that warning. That’s payback for the brushback to German.
Soria shows no emotion through the whole thing.

Impressive game for the Royals
1. Sufficient, competent start from the #5 SP
2. Very good relief pitching for 4 innings
3. Nice offensive showing (Dejesus, Aviles and Butler having great days)
This is what the Royals were supposed to do 80 times this season.
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.
Got to the game online just in time for Soria
Throw in that they have now played pretty consistently well against a team that should be playing in October, and I’m feeling good.

Yeah, splitting a 4-game series against a team with one of the best records in baseball is doing pretty well
