Random story my friend told me...

He was eating at some restaurant in Overland Park, and who walks in but Mike Aviles, the dude from the Jumbotron that interviews people in between innings, and some guy in a Royals polo. I guess they put that minor league fight on ESPN, and Mike got up in the middle of the restaurant and was like “I PLAYED WITH SOME OF THOSE GUYS!!”. I thought it was random.

Melky Cabrera would actually be a bit of a steal

he’s not even 24 yet. He still has time to improve.

The only huge problems are that Melky would be leaving his friend Robinson Cano, and that Melky isn’t very good as a RH batter. But this organization is pretty good with Dominican prospects.

Impressive game for the Royals

1. Sufficient, competent start from the #5 SP
2. Very good relief pitching for 4 innings
3. Nice offensive showing (Dejesus, Aviles and Butler having great days)

This is what the Royals were supposed to do 80 times this season.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.
