Third ten strikeout game of the year for the Boys in Blue

Gil against Arizona and Zack against Colorado were the others.

We have four ten strikeout games from one pitcher from 2000-2007. They are from Greinke, Odalis Perez, Luke Hudson and Blake Stein.

We have 14 double digit strikeout games from one pitcher

From 1995-2000. Twelve are from Appier. The other two were from Pat Rapp and Jay Witasick.

Question

Does winning in the minors translate to winning in the majors?

maybe used to...

but the minors are run so strangely (now IMHO) with AA seemingly where the good porspects go and AAA teams basically just random guys being stashed

The most double digit strikeout games the Royals have had in one season

Is seven, in 1989. Bret Saberhagen (3), Tom Gordon (3) and Mark Gubicza (1).
