He needs a cool mafia nickname
like Lenny “the Leach” or something.
Yes, I'm still alive. Sorry to disappoint you.
isn't it amazing...
that as much as we used to dread seeing our closers come in, our highlight is seeing our closer pitch. sweet justice.
how many
flippin lefties do they have?

Reminds me of Gordon last year
He tried to catch one like that in foul territory, and it hit his glove and his face. I think this was during his 0-for-90000 to begin the season. lol, poor Rookie Gordon.
Hopefully, we'll all look back on that wistfully and laugh
happily, without a sense of the bitter disappointments to come

has he turned into Gathright?
“At least he’s fast.”

It does kill me that in this day and age
a guy is hustling to beat out an infield single with a 3 run lead and lights out closer for the bottom of the ninth. With so many prima donnas, that just amazes me.
Yes, I'm still alive. Sorry to disappoint you.
He's not the best player of all time or even on this team
but at least he gives it his all. I just think that’s getting rare anymore.
Yes, I'm still alive. Sorry to disappoint you.
we should immediately extend his contract.

I like it, too

doesn’t it keep them from having to release certain information if there’s a private school in a conference? it’s something like that…..

baylor doesn't have to release anything... yeah...
they are in the big 12 because the gov. of texas at the time the big 12 was formed was a baylor alum. of course, since the big 12 was formed, baylor has won more national titles than mizzou has won CONFERENCE titles. just sayin.

Funny story, actually
I worked the night shift last night and I got done at 11:30 p.m. central. The Royals only had the ninth inning left, so I figured they were good. My coworkers went out drinking because one of them was turning 21. Of the 6 of us, 2 called in sick today, one had a hangover when he came in at 4 p.m., two would be considered “walking hangovers” because they came to work but regretted it greatly, and I was fine because I knew my limits and left before I “[drank myzelf] into ze obliffion.”
