Game 122 Open Thread - Royals at Yankees

Kansas City Royals at New York Yankees, Aug 15, 2008 7:05 PM EDT

The Yankees are desperate for wins, the Royals are just desperate.

The Royals are 4-3 against the Yankees this year.

As a side note, I get married tomorrow, so I won't be around for the game thread tonight.

Dear Trey

Mark Teahen is not a #3 hitter. But there’s not much he can do when DJ is apparently still hurt or hurt again. Grr..

A rainout is a definite possibility

We’re in the middle of a long, slow soaking rain. Could be a DH tomorrow or Sunday.

This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.

Very doubtful but it would be nice

KC is 32 walks below anyone else in the league adding Dunn would singlehandidly move them to the middle of the pack.

And increase every pitcher's ERA
