Kip Wells?

We're supposed to be more positive,
so I can say he would be an improvement over Fulchino. : )
i missed the memo
been away a while.
More positiveness:
He’s not Andy Sisco…

If i were to be negative, I would have posted this:
In other news, Barack Obama is looking for properly inflated tires to provide immediate help for the oil crisis.
it's actually good advice.
While incresing your gas mileage, it also decreases your chances of tire failure, therefore lowering health care costs. Win-win!

No harm in spending pennies on Kip Wells
(as there was no harm in spending pennies on H.Ramirez, Tejeda and Newman)
This is just my opinion. I could easily be wrong.
I agree there,
i mean he flipped Ho-Ram for a nice prospect, why can’t the same thing happen here? if not, he could turn out to be a good bullpen contributer, or just a waste of a few bucks.
I hate this
Kip Wells played for the Cardinals and Dave Duncan couldn’t resurrect him, how will we? It’s a move that doesn’t matter that much, I know, but I used to talk so much crap on him to one of my Cardinal buddies so now he will return the favor, so basically I’m being selfish.

All depends
If we can have him for free, I’d love him as a long reliever and an improvement over Fulchino.
But if we have to give up anything for him, this would probably negate the positives of giving up Horacio Ramirez to get a minor leaguers.

Okay he's a FA
So I approve picking him up. We need a long reliever, Omaha is thin in alternatives. Wells would make some sense.

Wells had very large home/road splits in Colorado
16.88 ERA in 5 1/3 IP at home
2.45 ERA in 22 IP on the road
Wells has good K numbers but lousy control
Hiram 2.0
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Hopefully he’ll help us… let’s get a scouting report… I think he’s low 90s?
Don't forget to send your broken maples to the US Forest Service.
Goodbye Newman!
Jeff Newman will reportedly be sent down to make room for the Kipster.
