Kip Wells signing Almost complete & injuries.
Kip wells is basically signed Bob Dutton reports, unless an unforseen snag occurs, also he goes on to say that Ron Mahay is having more pain in his foot after his one appearence vs. the yankees, and that Ram-Ram is/could be dealing with an unspecified minor injury...
Lets hope we get Ho-Ram v2.

Hard to get excited
Obviously this is a cheap, stop-gap measure. It’s hard to envision Wells doing anything other than eating some innings for a few weeks (on the Rockies’ dime).
We could do worse. Looking at his season numbers, due to only 15 appearances, they are inflated (at least his ERA) by a complete debacle on July 21 (7 ER allowed in 1/3 IP). His walks are way too high, though (and not just this year), so we shouldn’t expect much here.

I'm sick of the negativity on this site
This is the move that catapults us towards the AL Central Division title.

The Royals had a few other options on their 40-man roster
Neal Musser
Carlos Rosa
I wonder why they went with the wild card and signed Wells? I would have rather seen either Musser or Rosa get the MLB time.

Injuries
Rosa is coming off injury and has been pitch count limited. Musser just came off the minor league DL last week.
