Looking at the list on Baseball Reference, you'd probably have to go with Bob Allison a Raytown native who played from 1958-1970 and hit 256 career home runs.

Of Allison and Killebrew wreaked havoc on my A’s for most all of my grade school years. Allison’s no HOFer, but he was a very solid MLBer.

Yeah
I’m think his overall line will be above .800 OPS next year, but not much. But that’s great for an SS.
Trey should move him down a bit against righties (at least next year, when the Royals hope to have a least one more decent hitter). He hardly walks at all.

very OT: question for philofthenorth or anyone else who might have some ideas
I’m trying to think of classic “stuck wah” guitar riffs other than the great (if tired) “Money for Nothing.”: Phil, I’d imagine you might know some.
I think a stuck wah might be how Page got the greasy tone on “The Lemon Song,” but I’m not sure it counts in that category. Zappa, of course, was the master of using the stuck wah, but that was more of a lead thing (and also might have been his on-board parametric preamp thing, plus an ol Systech Harmonic Energizer [which I think was just a one-band parametric eq/boost]).
But any riffs that you can think of?
It was prompted by hearing “Derby Day” by Cheeseburger during the credits of “Step Brothers” (stupid, and obviously written on pot, but still funny. Feel free to mock me). It’s not really my kind of music, normally, but I like the riff, and thought it might be a stationary wah, but from the looks of them, it’s probably just a Les Paul straight into a JMP or JCM 800.
Thoughts?

Of course! How could I forget! So stupid.
But I was thinking of riffs. Seems like he used it on leads more. Then again, I’ll admit that, while I like Schenker’s solos, a lot of the the songs were so cheesy, or at least not to my taste.

they can definitely hold down the fort, with German as the utility IF (If Aviles goes down, put Callaspo at SS). That takes care of that. Just add a DH and another corner OF, and away we go.
